I have been an artisan as long as I can remember. Sewing, draping, fashion design, illustration, and music. If it can be made by hand, I have probably tried to make it.
For fifteen years that instinct has gone into women's apparel. I sew and construct as well as design, which means I know the unglamorous half of the work as well as the beautiful half: the tech packs, the fit sessions, the vendor emails at odd hours. I have built brands from the name up and carried collections from first sketch to finished garment.
What I like most is the moment a collection stops being an idea and becomes something a woman actually reaches for.
I design and sew on a self-contracted basis for clients.
